CBD is thought to work via endocannabinoid receptors in the brain, which – as their name implies – are sensitive to cannabinoids such as cannabidiol and its much stronger marijuana-derived cousin, THC. These receptors are located in the brain in humans and other mammals, which accounts for the psychoactive effects of THC and the milder non-psychoactive effects of CBD. Of all the classic cocktails that are well-known in bars across the world, one stands out for being both complex fascinating to drink, but also incredibly easy to make: the negroni.
